On Tuesday, September 14, from 6 a.m.- 6 p.m., KPFT will preempt regular programming for a special day of fundraising for the Pacifica Radio Archives.
Like all Pacifica entities, PRA has its own budget goals and must raise money to survive. The day of fundraising goes exclusively to support the work of the Archives.

Houston Market Square Concert Series
Market Square Park
is the place to be in downtown starting at the end of August. Downtown’s newest green space is located in the heart of Houston’s Historic District and will play a critical role in creating a sense of community for downtown residents, businesses and visitors. Park goers will be treated to live entertainment throughout the year, beginning with the official grand opening on Saturday, August 28.

All events are free and open to the public.

We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Tour 18 Golf Course Houston in Humble, TX.
The event will include a 4-person scramble, box lunch and awards receptions following the golf.
